Luella Funches is the Great Grandmother of Darnell Reed. She came to Chicago in the 40's by way of Morgan City Mississippi. Since 2015 our Lincoln Square restaurant honors her with a menu inspired by her expert home cooking. Our customers favorites are the Shrimp and Grits as well as the Buttermilk Fried Chicken.

We are committed to offering food sourced from reputable farmers, featuring locally grown and sustainably raised products. Our valued partners include Three Sisters Garden in Kankakee, Illinois; Slagel Family Farm in Fairbury, Illinois; Mick Klug Farms in St. Joseph, Michigan; and Harrison's Poultry in Glenview, Illinois.
